OnLine doesn't recognise AIX's logical volumes in > the same way AIX does. You're in need of a new logical device if the 2gig-limit is reached, otherwise you can add a new chunk by working with offset. But the dbspace/chunk will not increase automatically as your raw device increases. hth martin
