HDR secondary move

Dear All,
We are moving a server having Informix secondary server from one data
centre to another. It is a 5 day process.
Version 7.31 , OS HP-UX 11.11
While bringing up the Secondary instance I will check the following:
1) Check for last logical log in the secondary (in online.log file)
when secondary went offline
or use onstat –g dri in primary.
If logical log is present in primary (onstat –l) then automatically
sync (onmode -d secondary prim_name ) will happen when we bring
secondary up.
2) If in primary the required logical logs are not are present then:
Take a latest L0 backup of primary & do a physical restore onstat –p
in secondary, then onmode -d secondary prim_name, & bring it up.
Q. Are there any other solution. Just the logical log restore from the
logical log backup of primary. 5 days of logical log. Is this
possible in version 7.31?
Thanks

1) Yes, the logical log restore from primary logical log backup is
possible in version IDS 7.31.
If you find that required logical logs are not present in the
primary, then you have to
give the command on the secondary server,
ontape -l ( please check the syntax for logical log
restore )
Informix server will prompt you for mounting the logical log tapes.
2) If you are not doing many transactions in the five day process on
the primary server, may be doing logical log restore
on the secondary server may be a faster solution when compared to
doing a full backup and restarting HDR.
3) It is better to test out the logical log restore process on a
development informix server.
