As has been pointed out, 36000 seconds is 10 hours. Why do you want to do this? If you tell us your problem we may be able to help. My advice is don't do it. Set it to about 300. Not least the fact that your checkpoint duration may be affected, but your page cleaner performance definitely will, doing more LRU writes. Either your logical or physical logs will probably force a checkpoint long before your 1 (10?) hour is up anyway.
