Informix UTF-8 (Foreign characters won't insert)

Hi, I am having an issue inserting into Informix (Innovator -C) foreign characters from a VB .Net application. Can anyone please tell me how it would be possible. Best Regards Andrew

Database created with proper DB=5FLOCALE setting, i.e. specifying database = code set as UTF8? What is your exact issue?
