5.02 ??

I'm used to seeing DSA split up a task over multiple threads and processes, but under what conditions would 5.02 do the same? I have a long running query that is outputing to a file. it gets to about 65 MB of output and then promptly splits off another sqlturbo process. The new process has the same tty, a new pid, and begins to accumulate stats, too. Any ideas? David
