Re: database reorg for large databases? - Off topic already!

Thanks to everyone for their responses. Lots of very good advise. To let everyone know, my desire is to use my option 3 below with multiple unload/reload/index rebuilds running concurrently. My intention of the email wasn't how I needed to do this (thanks anyway) but rather "How everyone else does it" or "How others don't do it" or "Best Practices". On another note... To "Nobody" (whom must not what to be "Somebody") Who are you talking to? You need to be more clear as to who you are addressing. I believe Neil and Obnoxio where passing some friendly "shite" between them. I would be more than happy to entertain your ideas and or thoughts. This of course this depends on if you have any or if you are just full of bull "shite". :-)~ nobody <nobody@devnull.o rg> To Sent by: informix-list@iiug.org owner-informix-li cc st@iiug.org Subject Re: database reorg for large 03/14/2005 07:49 databases? - Off topic already! Then use views/synonyms for access? Now that says a lot. ;-) (Not all of it good) Its no wonder that the clown pokes fun of you. And the fact he's calling you a southerner is funny. sending to informix-list
