Is your m/c single processor m/c? Informix Tech support admits that AIX port of 7.1 has problems on a single processor m/c. They say it is due to Process aging on AIX 3.2.5. We moved to 7.1 and performance got worse? Informix has no clue why? If you move to 7.1 and see better performance on AIX 3.2.5, let me know.
