Cesar Martins could not find 14.10.FC2 on IBM Fix Central. Pradeep Natarajan said it is on Passport Advantage, but Cesar found only FC1 there. Marc Demhartner suggested downloading the developer trial and applying a licence. Pradeep confirmed 14.10 fix packs are not on Fix Central because of the simplified license installer, and said IBM would look at access for users.

Hi Pradeep, shouldn't it be available on both?
I can't find any 14.10 version on Fix Central either. Not everyone who has access to Fix Central has access to Passport Advantage and it is based around the
esoteric part number system.
Ben.

Hi Pradeep,
Before post here I check my Passport Advantage too and there have only the FC1 .
Until today, only the Informix Gateway I get the last fix into the PA (what I already consider wrong, but...) , everything else I always get in Fix Central.
Pretty confusing all this.

Hi Ben,
Yes, 14.10 fix packs (FC1, and FC2) are not available on IBM Fix Central. The reason for this is the simplified Informix license installation mechanism. Since we moved away from having individual binaries (aka bundle) for each edition, the Fix Central infrastructure could not be used to make the license installer and the base product (Developer Edition) available as separate files. However, your point about access for users is valid. We will work with the IBM team to figure out a solution soon.

I think this is a search issue in PPA. Please try using the direct C part #s-
