RE: IDS 10 for Linux

Neil, We are running 1 TB high-load OLTP on Opteron (4 sockets dual-core - 8 CPU's in total - 32GB - Sun v40z) OLTP runs faster on Opteron, then on Xeon DSS works much faster on Opteron Reliability is very good. Suse Linux 9. The only platform-related problems we a facing is HDR failures (OS error 4 or 11). We are working with IBM on that. P.S. This is not a broad-public information, please, do not reply broad-band -Alexey > -----Original Message----- > From: informix-list-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:informix-list-bounces@iiug.org] > On Behalf Of Neil Truby > Sent: Monday, May 15, 2006 11:42 AM > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: IDS 10 for Linux > > Does anyone have a feeling for how well, or otherwise, IDS 10 for Linux will > work on AMD/Opteron rather than Intel processors? > > thanks > -- > Neil Truby t:01932 724027 > Director m:07798 811708 > Ardenta Limited e:neil.truby@ardenta.com > > > _______________________________________________ > Informix-list mailing list > Informix-list@iiug.org > http://www.iiug.org/mailman/listinfo/informix-list
