Set explain problem

Hello, I'm getting the following error when I try to run 'set explain on' from dbaccess, with any user than informix. 534: Cannot open EXPLAIN output file. 132: ISAM error: rowsize too big Is it something like a permission problem? Any suggestion? Thanks in advance for your help.
