Hello gurus: We are using Informix 5.x on a HP_UX9.x os. And we need to get some information from STAR's log, but the log keeps only the following fields: ----------------------------- sqlexec cmk220 cli -nsysdb sqlexec cmk220 cli -nsysdb sqlexec cmk220 840812 -nerdb ----------------------------- We need to get the time when users connect on database through star. Here is the question, Is it possible to change the field logged in STAR's log besides its default fields? Thanks! -- ========================================= Real: Kuang-ming Kuo('''''') E-mail: dianak@hp.iis.sinica.edu.tw Phone: 886-6-2818211x2068 Fax: 886-6-2515434 Organization: Chi-Mei Foundation Hospital Address: Tainan, Taiwan, Repblic of China =========================================

No. Write a program that reads the log as it grows (perhaps poll every 1/2 second) and timestamp the newly read records youself in a parallel log of your own. Art S. Kagel
