Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
SMITH JOHN asked whether Informix has an event signalling that an audit file reached its size limit so it could be sent by ftp automatically. Fernando Nunes did not know but suggested changing the alarmprogram to leave evidence and forcing an audit file change with onaudit to test it. No result was reported; the asker just thanked him.

Maybe i wasn't clear :), in fact i just want to know if there s a event on
informix to know if a audit file has reached his size limit
Actually I don't know... But it's easy to test... change the alarmprogram
to leave some evidence of execution and force a change in the audit file
with "onaudit".
I'm sure there is a message in the online.log But I'm not sure if the
alarmscript is called...
