Checkpoint blocked ?

Hi, I had the same problem with ODS 7.14.UD6.on AIX 4.2.1. It has happened = twice this week. Everybody just hang and i could not even do a onmode -y properly. There= was a message saying no respond from the server. And when i did an oninit, the system= just hang on Logical Recovery and could not bring the server online. I had to reboot= the OS to get the server back online again. On AIX 4.2 with OWS 7.20.UC2, I had a deadlock situation twice in a short time : nobody could work, and an onstat gave the message : checkpoint required= , blocked. I had to stop Informix (onmode -k) and restart (oninit). I guess that some user threads where blocking the checkpoints ? Guy =
