I-Net NT4.0 error -932

We have an ESQL/C application that runs under WFW and WinNT. All of the WFW apps and some of the WinNT apps are running fine. There are however 2 NT4.0 machines that do not work. When you try and run them you get err -932 getservbyname system call failed. All of the services files and informix.ini files are the same on all of the machines, and DNS is working fine. Also, llogin will not connect with the same error message (-932) when you manually try and connect. Anybody have any similar experiences??? Thanks in advance..
