Trouble using INFORMIX SE on DEC Alpha

OSF/1 v2 will run OnLine v6, but OSF/1 v3 must have OnLine v7.1. This is the only problem we've had. (Of course, your ownership and permissions of the informix files must be IAW TFM.) We do not use the Enhance Password stuff. I'd rather not use the ordinary password stuff from OSF/1 (Ultrix was SO much better). I have seen a problem with clients accessing a database which did not allow public access. We had to grant select to public despite the client logging on with another userid. We're using DEC OSF/1 V1.3, and OnLine 5.00.UD1 (yes, it works fine!) on one platform, and starting up DEC OSF/1 V3.0 and OnLine 7.1 (with RAID, no less!) on another.
