Informix WS: poor performance on NT

We are using Informix WS 7.12 on a Pentium 100 System. When we start a select on a medium Database with nearly 40,000 Rows, the System answers in about 30 to 35 Seconds. The same Call on the same Machine with SQL - Server 6.5 from MS it is only 5 Seconds. Again the same Call on a HP 9000 with HPUX 10.20 and Informix Online DS 7.22 takes only 3 Seconds. VERY INTERESTING: Again, same call over Net (ISQL on NT, DB - Engine on HP ) takes also 30 Seconds. thanks for help Cris
