First - are you able to finish the documented servlet tests? If not
try to get them working.
You need to make sure you can login without password as the user that
runs the webserver (e.g. wwwrun) to the application server.
Example - change user to the user apache run as; try to login
to your application server as user fgluser via ssh (you need to set up
ssh before - ~/.shosts, ~/.ssh/known_hosts ...):
# su - wwwrun> ssh -l fgluser appserver
When you are able to get a prompt on the remote machine without
password - go further.
Add the following to your cjac.cnf (change what you need to fit it
to your system):
cjac.app.iar.cmd="/usr/bin/ssh"
cjac.app.iar.comment="Remote IA Demo"
cjac.app.iar.arg="-l", "fgluser", "appserver", \\
"export FGLGUI=1; \\
export FGLSERVER=webserver:$(FGL_GUISRVNUM); \\
export FGLDIR=/opt/fgl2c; \\
export INFORMIXDIR=/opt/informix; \\
export CLIENT_LOCALE=en_us.8859-1; \\ cd $(FGLDIR)/demo; exec $(FGLDIR)/bin/fglrun ia"
cjac.app.iara.cmd="/usr/bin/ssh"
cjac.app.iara.comment="Authenticated IA Remote Demo"
cjac.app.iara.arg="-l", "$(FGL_AUTHUSER)", "appserver", \\
"export FGLGUI=1; \\
export FGLSERVER=webserver:$(FGL_GUISRVNUM); \\
export FGLDIR=/opt/fgl2c; \\
export INFORMIXDIR=/opt/informix; \\
export CLIENT_LOCALE=en_us.8859-1; \\ cd $(FGLDIR)/demo; exec $(FGLDIR)/bin/fglrun ia"
After that you should be able to start is remote on the application server
via the name "iar". When you add user authentication to your apache you
should try "iara" - now you need to set up login from user wwwrun on webserver
to the allowed users on the application server without password like for
fgluser before.
Hope it helps.
