Oh God, I knew I shouldn't have done this. I just had a session with defibrillator after dying from boredom, but the relevant section actually says: "The election is a democratic process whereby the candidates *who get the most votes* and confirm their interest to serve in a timely manner after being contacted with the results will be confirmed as elected. To avoid potential conflicts of interest, votes are automatically tallied and manually validated by members of the IIUG Nominating Committee who are not standing for election." ZZZZZzzzzz.... So, I guess "the most votes" implies some sort of cutoff. But it's not exactly clear what the cutoff is. Perhaps the new board can clarify this. I can't imagine that if 500 people get some votes, all 500 should comprise the board. I also can't imagine that if 500 people get some votes, the top 499 should comprise the board. -- Bye now, Obnoxio "... no bill is required as no value was provided." -- Christine Normile -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by OpenProtect(http://www.openprotect.com), and is believed to be clean.
