dangling lock on table

<HTML> Informix 7.23 OS; Solaris 2.5.1   After a deadlock I got the problem that a table is locked, an exclusieve lock. I can't get ride of this lock, the only thing I didn't do is restarting Informix because the server is used for more databases so it difficult to restart Informix during office hours. - What do I do to delete the lock on the table ?
