Another way to do it is to run your program like this:- myprog.4ge $$ In myprog, grab the value of arg_val(1):- define snum integer [...] let snum = arg_val(1) This will be the session ID (or do I mean the PID? Or the PPID? Well, something along those lines anyway). Paul (not a spokesman)
