We have there forms in add module 1 ) field1 : [ ] f2 : [ ] f3 : [ } . . etc By pressing enter key on field opens a form called as a descriptive field look like this [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ] you can select any row from this field and if you want update more records you can do by pressing accept key the addition look like this fi : [ ] f2 : [ ] f3 : [ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ] this screen will display all the existing records , assuming you have 3 details records , now you want add 4th record using tab key you can come down from 1st row to 3rd row and 4th row . problem is suppose I want to go back to third row by pressing Left key from 1st field , it is not moving but if i am in 2 nd row or 3rd i am able to move. but if i am 4th row that is new row and i am trying to go back , it is moving to the last field of the same row and started displaying the values from the above rows. only after field and before field triggers are fireing for this event. I tried all the options , nothing is working. the total no of modules : 24 total no of lines ( 4GL alone ) : 42,000 ( also this program contains some ESQL/C , C header files , shell scripts ) pl.reply --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
