When you create the table with the blob column you specify which blobspace
you want the blob to be stored in.
Example:
create table t1 (col1 text in blobspace1,
col2 byte in blobspace2,
col3 text in table);
This table with 3 blobs will store col1 in the blobspace called
blobspace1,
col2 in the blobspace blobspace2, and col3 will be stored in the table
itself
as blob pages within the table extents.
