I was told (by Art or somebody here) that the "support on installation" is free. See the diff? They get it installed for you so you get hooked like it's crack. Then they hose you hard for life selling you more crack in the form of support. I think that my assumption was that an "update" install was free. That was probably my bad. But when I change the directory from the default to the one where ids is now, he's acts all happy to do an update install (or so he says). Then he runs for awhile and fails. The log says that user cancelled. BS. I did not. He should have just said "FU, you ran version 1 and gave me no money, so we hate you and will not install this." or some such message. -----Original Message----- From: Obnoxio The Clown Sent: Friday, July 22, 2011 10:16 AM To: Bill Hamilton ; IIUG Informix List Subject: Re: ids 11.70.TC1IE limits On 22/07/2011 16:02, Bill Hamilton wrote: > Thanks, Art. > Some Indian gentleman answered and wanted a customer# before he would > help me. > My boss cannot find it.
