Goto http://www.iiug.org/ and in the software archives, find utils_jl.
In there, there is a script ods.rc which is what I use, suitably edited.
to bring up OnLine on my machines. The residual hard part is knowing
where to put it so that it happens automatically. On Solaris, it goes
in /etc/init.d, with suitable links in either /etc/rc2.d or /etc/rc3.d.
I usually put it in rc2.d so even if the machine is bit running as a
server over the net, the databases are available to me. YMMV. And the
specific directories where it should be installed will probably be
different, too.
