As I understand it, since Informix is very itchy to be ANSI compliant (for extremely lucrative business reasons) they are not about to offer a feature without approval of the ANSI commitee oon the subject of Stored Procedures (or is this part of SQL standard). Yes, they are hiding behind standards but it is still sound business practice to do so. If anyone can find embarrasing photos of the appropriate ANSI comitee members, I'm sure we could expedite the matter and we will all be able to code whole applications in stored procedures. ;-)) -- Jake Salomon
