(In MS lala-land, we have the almighty Profiler Tool. > Works well.) We use ServerStudio's Sentinel Server. It does not offer more information than the command line does, but it is far more conventient. In some cases, I only want to see SQLs that caused sequential reads for example. It also keeps a history for a database and allows a query of that database (show me all SQLs where 5000 < estimated cost > 22000, eg.). It monitors the server and creates graphs showing pagreads over time (or any other database or server statistic, like CPU usage and run queues). It will also run scheduled jobs. One of the big benefits is that it gives us one central server doing the monitoring that everyone can use. -- DCP
