Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
A user asked how to drop a chunk. Answers: the chunk must be empty first (only a few pages used). In version 7, use onspaces -d dbspace to drop the last chunk or whole dbspace, and onspaces -d dbspace -p chunkpath -o chunkoffset for other chunks; typing onspaces alone shows the full syntax. Under version 5 there is no chunk-level drop, so the entire dbspace containing the chunk must be dropped. One reply was just a joke.

Once the chunk is empty, it can be done using onspaces with
the -d option, assuming V7. In V5, you'll have to drop the
entire dbspace that the chunk is associated to.

Note that you can only drop chunks that are entirely empty (only a few
pages show used). For the last chunk of a dbspace or an entire
dbspace:
onspaces -d dbspace
For other chunks of a dbspace:
onspaces -d dbspace -p chunkpath -o chunkoffset
Just type "onspaces" for full command syntax.

I always find that a healthy helping of bran in the morning does the trick.
Failing that try laxitives. Haha, sorry I couldn't resist.
