This will NOT work, since there is no coordination between two OnLine instances for things like log buffers, checkpoints, etc. You WILL wind up with a corrupted database if you attempt to share chunks amongst different OnLine systems. As per the runtime vs. development: there is no such thing as a runtime server. A server is a server. However, when you buy runtime tools, you are given a price break on your server. The functionality of the server remains the same. If both runtime and development are on the same machine, you can simply use the same server. You will NOT be in violation of your contract if you have paid for a development license. Dave
