Said he who now scratches his head because he can't increase the size of a mounted and actively used file system that is filling up rapidly. Actually AIX is very fine, stable and easy to use, and since Version 4.2.1 very compatible with all industry standards. (like .so shared libraries) We are very happily running 1,5 Tb of Informix DB's on over 50 AIX boxes, from smallest to large 4x8 CPU 8 Gb RAM 250 Gb DB and growing. Andreas Zeugswetter
