This is the second "my integers don't store decimal places" query this month. I would never dream that this would need to be explained, check out the fine manual on data types to validate. Integers store whole numbers - in other words, no fractional parts - or NO DECIMAL PLACES. If you want to use decimal places try the datatypes like FLOAT, SMALLFLOAT, DECIMAL, MONEY, and all of their synonyms (DEC, NUMERIC, yadiyadiya). cheers j. _____________________________________________________________________________ Jack Parker - Hewlett Packard, BSMC Boise, Idaho, USA jparker@hpbs3645.boi.hp.com _____________________________________________________________________________ Discover America, get lost on a rally. _____________________________________________________________________________ Any opinions expressed herein are my own and not those of my employers. _____________________________________________________________________________
