Are there any others? It is documented in the c4gl script in 4.12; run it with no arguments. The release notes for 4.12 do not seem to mention it, but those for 6.00 do. I sent out an email about it to c.d.i way back (probably in the Jan-Apr 94 date range), and that included instructions on how to retrofit it into an earlier version of c4gl. This is probably still in one of the c.d.i archives. What it says in the 6.00 Release Notes is: 6. C4GL uses the new "-z" option. C4GL recognizes the "-z" option which allows a single function to be invoked with a variable number of arguments without I4GLC1 complaining at compile time. Although the "-z" option was supported by 4.xx versions of fglc, the C4GL shell script ignored the option so it was not possible to use the standard script to compile programs with such functions. Note that it is dangerous to use this option as it suppresses all error messages for all functions with variable numbers of arguments; there are generally very few (if any) of these functions in a program. The option is also supported by fglpc. Note the comments in I4GL Ref Man Vol 1 (Version 4.00) p1-73 for custom runners. Yours, Jonathan Leffler (johnl@informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h>
