Migration of Chunk

Hi all, Current I have informix 7.31 running with about 10 active chunks. How to I migrate those chunck to new and faster harddisk space on the same server instead of doing import/export and load/unload. Thanks and Regrads, Tham.
Obviously, you'll have set up links from your chunks to your devices, rather than use the device names themselves directly, as recommended in the manual. So archive->remove links->re-create links to new device->restore will do it. Or you could use dd. But the archive will be less error-prone. If you have soft links to the chunks and can bring down the system for a while, you could do the following 1. Move to Quiescent mode 2. Carry out a Level 0 backup 3. Bring down Informix 4. Modify your soft links to use the faster disk(s) - obviously, these disk volumes should be ready for use (owner/group informix, 660, matching sizes) 5. Restore using the backup taken in 2.
