System table constraints on tabname and colname are still 18 characters. Some preprocessing might allow you to emulate longer names if that's what you're looking for, though[0]. -Richard [0] <fx: sigh> My current company decided that five characters was the best size for a table name. Now we have some really odd tables that nobody really understands. 729 tables, 663 of which are 5 characters, 47 of which are SHORTER. I really wish we had the opposite problem sometimes.
