AIX and Informix 7.1 problem!

Hi,i have a RS6000 with AIX 4.2.1 and recently installed Informix SE 7.11.UC1, but this engine refuses to connect with my Informix 4 databases! It complains with the following message; 311: Cannot open system catalog (syscoldepend)2: No such file or directory Now, this table does not exist. I think that the Informix should create some new tables at the first databse connection. Is this correct? Why does he do not create this one? This table does not belong to Informix 4 databases! With my SCO machines (SCI 3.2v4.2) the informix 7.1 worked fine, but in AIX no! Do i need to do a dbexport and a dbimport, or something else to my old databases work with Informix 7.1? Is there any special method to upgrade the this databases in AIX? Thanks in advance.
