Move dbs between various operatiing systems.

Hi All, I am planing to port my database that is running well on WinNT to Linux box. Would any know this, please teach me some correct methods in order to move entire a database on WinNT to Linux platform, in which both platforms are installed IDS 2000. I tried to rin dbexport from WinNT, then i ran dbschema and unload ultility on Linux box that had installed IDS 2000 with the same version on WinNT but there is always have much problems issues during creating tables & unload data from load files, this problems seems caused by wrong data format in load files ??., if this case, pls tell me how to convert load data format files WinNT to correct data format on Linux box.
