Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
A poster simply asked where to get ODBC drivers for Informix. Replies pointed to several options rather than one fix: the Intersolv 3.11 driver bundled free with Informix's CLI/SDK (reported to work well with IIS 4.0, apart from a minor ODBC-to-ADO decimal mapping quirk, and fine as the 32-bit version, though one user couldn't get the 16-bit Intersolv driver working with MicroStrategy DSS Agent), SCO's SQL-Retriever (16- and 32-bit, no I-Net needed), and OpenLink Software's drivers, plus mentions of Intersolv and ISG. No single resolution is recorded.

Informix offers free a ODBC Intersolv 3.11 driver, bundled with their
CLI SDK 2.10. This works great with IIS 4.0 except for a small
ODBC-->ADO decimal data mapping issue.

We use the Intersolv 32-bit driver which comes with the Informix
software development kit (SDK). It has worked well. But when we try
to use the 16-bit Intersolv driver (one of our applications requires it
-- Microstrategy DSS Agent), we haven't been able to get it running yet.

You could try our ODBC driver: SCO SQL-Retriever; it works fine with
Informix 4-7 SE/OnLine on a variety of UNIX platforms, doesn't need
I-Net and provides 16- & 32-bit ODBC drivers as necessary. Take a look
at
http://www.sco.com/vision/products/sqlretriever/ for more information
and a downloadable eval.

Likewise, you can try OpenLink's drivers at http://www.openlinksw.com if you
prefer on driver suite to connect across all major
database/hardware/operating system configurations.
