Free IDS for Developers/Small Shops?

Hello, Just read the announcement about the free version of DB2 being made available. I'd really like a similar Informix offer, the 5 user version here in the download area is insufficient for my purposes - I need a minimum 20-50 connections for training classes and development testing. I'd also like to build a few small apps that could eventually be migrated to our enterprise IDS systems without spending a small fortune. Any suggestions? Thanks. Bill

Late last year, an offer was being discussed but nothing has been finalized yet. I can definitely tell you a 20 - 50 user connection will NOT be possible. You need to buy a valid license to support that type of work load. What ever does come out will be single-user-ish with basic functionality for people to get used to writing and using IDS.
