Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Ask the Informix database administrator. The database server will have a
service name associated with it (this should be the value of $INFORMIXSERVER
when you are connected to the host on which the database server resides).
Provided this database server is configured for network connections this
name will have an entry in /etc/services. That entry will give you the port
number to use.
