I've just finished a test migration of an IDS 7.31 server to 9.3. The migration guide says that after I fire up the new version, I need to run scripts to update the syscdr database (page 3-43). The online log says syscdr was converted. Anybody know whether the additional conversion steps are necessary? Thanks! Dave Thacker
Yes - you must run the extra steps if you are running with ER. The message that you got indicates that the 7.31 database, syscdr, was converted to a 9.3 database. It does not mean that the tables within the syscdr database were converted to support ER on 9.3. M.P.
