Upgrade to 11.70.FC4 from 11.50.FC5

I plan to upgrade our HDR cluster from 11.50.FC5W2 to 11.70.FC4 (OS: HP-UX B.11.31 U ia64). I want to make sure it is trouble-free as I no longer have a cluster in development to test against. 1. Does it matter what order ( primary first or secondary) I bring the servers down prior to the upgrade? I will switch both to 'standard' mode before shutdown. 2. Can I upgrade Primary and Secondary to 11.70 and simply restart HDR? Will HDR pickup where it left off or do I have to do a physical restore of secondary with a fresh (post upgrade) backup of primary. 3. Any gotchas/reminders other than to ensure appropriate transfers of onconfig, sqlhosts, alarmprogram, evidence files into INFORMIXDIR folders on both servers?

Starting from an 11.50 instance you have to upgrade the primary in place then you have to take an archive using the new version and perform a physical restore with the new version to establish the HDR again. Once you are on 11.70 there is a way to do the upgrade to the next release without a restore, indeed without any downtime. Art Art S.
