I want to open a doc file in window dir using informix 4gl

I want to open a doc file in window dir using informix 4gl? is it possible if possible how to do ? we are using informix Standard Engine and Sco Unix. regards Trisha

Using VisionFS create shared directories on SCO box that will be visible to Windows PCs. The file will really be on Unix, so it will be easy to access from your 4GL. On Linux use Samba to achieve the same result. HTH Michael
