RE: Dropping a dbspace

You need to make it available again to drop it. You do that with onspaces -s ... or restore from archive.
Otherwise the easiest is to reinitialise and start again.

I tried what you suggested and get the following error:
informix@saatest3 $ onspaces -s dbdata -p
/usr/informix/dev-links/DBDATA_TEST3 -o 4
