Informix blobs and PowerBuilder

Hello, everybody! Has anybody successfully used blobs with PowerBuilder and Informix as DBMS? I have tried both byte in table and text in table, but neither works as intended. If you have done this successfully or has any comments on how it can be done, please let me know.
