Is it ODBC error?

Hi Gurus, I got some problem again. We are running some query through ODBC. Sometimes it works, sometimes it failed. But we can use dbaccess to run the same query, all succesufl. Error Description: (8007000E): [Informix][Informix ODBC Driver][Informix]Memory allocation failed during query processing. Source = Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers NativeError = -208 SQLState = S1001 (7): Source = CTariffBaseBODT::FindTariff (7): Source = CTariffBase::FindTariff (7): Source = WCTRB::lGetTrbRes Does it mean ODBC error? What version o fthe Client SDK are you running? How big is your query? We ran into something similar with a very large query (over 10K) in SDK 2.81.TC3. It was patched in a fix release TC3Xi for us. Hi Lennie, We are using SDK 2.70.TC3. Nothing related to query size, some time it even failed on few records, but some times works on several hundreds records. Hi, ODBC Driver is getting this error from IDS, I mean this error is not being generated in ODBC side. Looking into the -208 error description it points to space issue and it also correctly/safely indicates that it could also be temporary resource issue, and as you also mentioned sometime it works so this could well be temporary space issue. What OS/platform are you using? Can you share your query which you are running? Also, what version of IDS you are running? If you have not gone through -208 error description, I would encourage you to go through and see If it helps you any further. Hi Shesh, We are running informix version V7.31UD3 on AIX V4.3. I have checked the 208 error, it claims that system could not to allocate enough memory for this query. In such case, if I run the same query using DBACCESS, same error will occur. But no error shows if you use dbaccess. Below is our query.
