[SNIP] I know we have been down this road before, but I should point out some of the following: 1) Informix Benchmarks with 7.2. 7.2 is not being released. After being introduced 1 year ago, the product has not been officially released for general distribution. I know it was a few weeks ago, but they have suddenly stopped shipping. 2) Informix in their *apples* vs *apples* benchmark comparison did not publish results based on the same machine. If you read the fine print, you will see that Sybase was run on an *older* configuration. So, before we start calling Oracle a bunch a low down dirty scoundrels, (Which they are ;-), we should at least look at Informix too! After all, remember kiddies, Alls fair in love and war, and TCP/C benchmarks. -Uncle Mikey
