The Linux-Informix committee is continuing to work with Informix to define the user community's needs and help Menlo formulate marketing strategies, pricing, and product release scheduling. Your comments about your own needs are helpful to this effort. You should fill out the Linux survey on the Informix WEB site if you have not already done so to tell Informix what your priorities are. We do have more than a general committment but nothing concrete that I can report here. The discussion continues however. Informix is not only still listening to us but is actively soliciting our input. There has been definite improvment over the last year in this regard. Stay tuned, there is more to come. Art S. Kagel
