Hi,
I was having problems with my server on an NT 4.0 workstation and some of you
suggested that my logs might have filled up. I should have checked that. So the
logs were in fact full. I now need to dump the logical logs and do not want to write
them to an actual tape. I have the LTAPEDEV in my onconfig file set to "NUL".
When I do an ontape -a, I get
"Please mount tape 1 on "NUL" and press Return to continue ..."
When I hit a return on this, I get
"Logbackup failed - function open tape device "NUL" failed code -1 errno 2
Without performing the backup, I am stuck. Is there no equivalent to /dev/null of UNIX
on NT? Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
-Hari
