Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Smith John asked where to find Informix version limits such as maximum pages and extents. Art Kagel pointed to Carlton Doe's article on edition differences and the Knowledge Center limits page. Smith found the 11.70 page, based on 2k pages, and asked whether limits differ for larger pages. Art said only data bytes per fragment grows proportionally with page size.

This link discusses the feature and resource limit differences between the
various Informix "Editions". It is officially "unofficial" but it is
maintained by Carlton Doe, one of the founders of the IIUG and currently an
IBM evangelist for Informix:

If you want to know about internal limitations like maximum pages per
partition, numbers of chunks and dbspaces, etc., look in the Informix
Knowledge Center at this link:

The only thing that's really different on larger pages is the Data bytes
per fragment which increases proportionally. That is documented on the
v12.10 limits page link that I sent.
