Hi, Specify your workstation name and ip address in sco server hosts file and try to connect it. Hi, Informix connect has a tool called setnet32. What you need to do is to define the server, the service etc. on setnet32. This writes to your registry. To test if your configuration is right, there is another tool called ilogin provided with Informix connect. You can use this to test your connection. The other thing you can check is to see if you have a file called 'hosts' on your local machine. In here, you need to specify the IP address of your workstation where you are trying to connect from and call it 'localhost'. This should usually fix the problem. shivi shankaran.
