I should also have added that you need to verify that you can access
the database(s) using either server name. Eg: stores@edvanta &
stores@edvltcp -- if you can't, you've got OnLine setup problems
which will prevent DBD::Informix from testing OK. Also, if you've
got everything else working OK, there's very little chance that
the failures in the multiconn will hide defects in DBD::Informix
itself.
And, finally for now, you should have edvltcp listed in the
DBSERVERALIASES part of the ONCONFIG file.
